Re: Look what I did...even lower???
wheels are stock 8" rallies and I'll trade you for some 7's
Nope Nope Nope but I did think about lawn edging for a soft rocker under the lip of cab and bed but I think that the fender extender the 4X4 guys use might be better so I'm on the prowl for some cheap to try...sometimes being low and looking low ar't the same thing..for now I need to just look low

Re: Look what I did...even lower???
I cant remember what it is called, but it looks like the rubber base that you can put along the wall at the floor. Is it called rubber base board trim or something????

Re: Look what I did...even lower???
nope..
came off a truck, one of the other brands (four letters) 1999 had to cut about 3" off each end drilled 2 small holes into frame and 2 in the bumper support and 2 in the cups at the bottom of the fenders..the fit was very good other than the length and the pics don't do it justice but it hides all the sway bar hangers and steering stuff with a clean look..like I said I love it best thing to added to the truck in awhile its about the same hieght as the stock X member in my truck

Re: Look what I did...even lower???
Glad you guys like the "Cheaters Lip" it came off a ....ORD F 350 from 1999 so part # is Bone yard..mine came from a buddy who had a snow plow put on and they take them off all the time for the mount...the one for my diesal has vents in it but I opted for he gas job one and the smooth clean look
I like the Lorida idea......... |
