LOL... nope, mine was $199.00 back in 98 or 99 just for the grille

is the $400 maybe for the whole kit? grille and front roll pan? I didn't look at the price when I pulled up the page...

Yeah but you get unparalleled customer support and quality for your extra $300 from AIM.

Check out Trenz. They make quality billet grilles.

Re: 2 piece billet grille

You could probably take one of those regular phantom grills and remove a few of the strips from the center, then take some sheet metal and make a piece to go in there.

Re: 2 piece billet grille

Could you maybe take a phantom grill and use the center bar from a Suburban and fit them together? Just a thought.

Re: 2 piece billet grille

I remember an overhaulin on a 2dr 98 tahoe that chip foose built a similar looking grille. He ground down the center billet bars so that a strip of sheet metal would fit flush with the grille.

Re: 2 piece billet grille

heres the responce i got from the owner of Aim

Yes, I designed this grille about 13 years ago. I spend more than $65 just to box it with a tubular metal frame to prevent shipping damages. No, it is not a joke. I have more than a $100 in materials. I have a factory to support. The $100 grilles are from China, and all of my grilles are built inhouse and I charge more for them.

tx Joe

Looks like ill be making my own and keeping the extra 300 bucks, lol
