the bottoms are perfect as well as the latch area. no rust no rot no nothing. Illl try to get a few more pics of the bottoms and latch area for you. I honestly have not shipped anything by greyhound. maybe someone that has would have an idea on what they would charge for something like that.

Re: 67-72 Truck doors

Just shipped two complete doors by Greyhound from AZ to MD and it cost $190. They were quick too, shipped on Friday and there by Monday. Could have saved $30 if the doors were stripped.

Hope this helps.

why thank you for the rough estimate sir. Greatly appreciated. What did you do to package them up? these doors are heavy as they are complete doors.

I was on the receiving end of the deal but the seller did a great packaging job (Thanks again Tom!!) and it didn't look that hard to do. He removed inside and outside handles, cut small cardboard (cb) squares to slip over the inside handle studs so they wouldn't poke through, placed sheets of cb on both sides of the window with it rolled down, then cut large sheets of cb to form a box around each door two layers thick and then taped the daylights out of it.

I had never shipped though Greyhound myself but I was pretty impressed with the whole process. Plus there was this sweet little ol lady at the terminal where I picked them up, she made my day.
