Daisys on the Black truck
Just to see how they would fit a lowered truck , I tried this and took pics .

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
Awesome looking truck for sure. The rims don't look to bad but not exactly the right fit if you know what I mean. Just my .02

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
Looks really classic. The wider wheel and fat tire in the back looks really cool.

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
Frank I started to say something in the other thread. I think the problem is those tires are too tall. You need a bit lower profile for the wheels to work.

I agree, the tires make them look like 14" wheels. But I do like the look, but on the '76 much better.

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
The tires are 235/70 and 255/70/15's but they are Cooper Cobra's . I think Coopers run big . I know they are bigger than BFG's I have had in the same sizing . The fronts are really large once I put them on a lowered truck . I have a side view pic but it exaggerates the rake a bit . I needed to polish the Intros so I am using these to hold it up while thos are being cleaned .
I do admit that these wheels look much better on the light colored truck . On the black background , they seem to darken the overall look of the truck . Frank

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
I dont think you should mess with perfection. Put your other wheels back on.

I appreciate the opinion . I am not really liking the Daisys on the black truck but I like the rallys and the daisys on the Yellow truck . I think the Rallys look good at a higher ride height and the daisys would start to look good once lowered . As to "i'm in the minority so what the heck do i know" . I say that your truck speaks volumes about what you know . Building a truck that looks as good as yours both outside and under the hood adds weight and value to your opinion . Thanks , Frank

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
Frank,
I am still not sure what it is about them. From the first shots you gave us, I have loved them. I agree not putting them on the black truck but on the Yellow truck...you bet!

I think they fit perfectly-- both in size and in style.

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
thanks guy's....iv'e been around frank on here for a long time.i know he can take my opinion without getting upset.i usually shy away from sounding off..there have been some post for opinions in the past where guy's ask for advice then get kinda "pissy" when you tell them something.it's hard to put into words sometimes without sounding like your putting it down.in franks case his trucks do the talking, their always nice.

Re: Daisys on the Black truck
^^ man you hit the nail on the head! i value the opinions on this board and sometimes i hold back on my own because i have a hard time not sounding like a d*** in the words i type.
but to get back on point... i dont particularly care for the daisys on either truck with any size drop or tire size. i love the rally look on 'ol yeller(lowered) and of course the intro's on the black beauty. thats just my thoughts on the deal Frank. what ever you and your boys decide (with a nice drop) any of the choices are going to look good!
