Re: rally wheel spinners
spinnrs seem to be hit or miss items.
Seems every swap meet I've been to (admitedly, only a few) you could find spinners everywhere dirt cheap. If you go to e bay they are either junk, or quite expensive, and the few catalogs I've seen them in were rather expensive. |

Re: rally wheel spinners
You can use the same spinners that are used for 5-lug Ralleys. They will mount differently though. On 5-lug Ralleys, the spinner will slip over the snout of the cap (some require some clearancing/grinding).
For 6-lug Ralleys, the snout of the cap is a larger diameter than the spinner. You need 4 rear caps as these have the solid end vs. the open end front caps have because of the 4x4 front hubs. There is a centered hole under the sticker of the cap that will center the spinner. The spinner mounts flush to the end of the cap. You'll also find the hole sizes for the spinner & the center cap are different as well. You can use a rubber grommet in the hole on the 6-lug cap. When you thread the bolt through for the spinner, it will compress the rubber grommet enough to keep the bolt centered (enough so that it's not wobbling all over the place). Use Loc-Tite on the threads/hardware.
