Hey guys I need help with rear bearing replacement
Ive done it before on a landcruiser and my question is is it similar? Just push the axle shaft inward and take out the retaining clip the pull out on the axle?
Thanks for any help -webb |

May depend on what vehicle you're doing it on and what type of axle you have. My 68 GMC has a Dana 44.

Re: Hey guys I need help with rear bearing replacement
Im about to rip it apart. just wanted to make sure there wsnt any big gremlins to worry about.
I do have another question, im thinkin the bearings need replacing as you can grab the axle shaft at the hub and wiggle it significantly, is there anything on the diff end of the axle shaft i need to replace? |
