is there any difference between an 82 dually longbed and srw longbed as in length?

Re: dually chassis /srw chassis question

the dually is on a one ton chassis it would be the same as a srw chassis one ton the chassis are different for half and three quarter ton in thickness and depth..they are all the same length ( unless its been modified for commercial use like a tow truck)

NO, the beds are not 9' long. The wheelbase of a regular cab dually pickup and a regular cab long bed pickup are the same. The truck bed shares the same dimensions other than the outside exterior width due to the dually fenders.

Re: dually chassis /srw chassis question

I think what he meant is that a lot of the 1 ton cab and chassis are set up for 9'0" sevice bodies or dump bodies. They are model CK31003 (135.5" wb) or CK31403 (159.5" wb) vs CK30903 (131.5wb) for a pickup. NOTE you could also order the longer wheelbase chassis with a dual wheel delete to get single wheels. There are a few SRW cab/chassis with 9'0" service bodies on them that are not trucks with a pickup box delete option, check the wheelbase for sure
