Re: blown out 6 lug hub
look on the parts board. There's a member or two who are always parting out trucks. I'm sure one of them could help you.
You need to inspect the spindle real close and make sure it is OK. |

Re: blown out 6 lug hub
I've seen one new one but it was 22 years ago. I think it came from the local GM dealership. A few years after that the same dealership had a new replacement throttle cable for my 71. I doubt any dealer's shelves are that deep nowadays but you might be surprised. Your best bet would still probably be the parts board. There are quite a few Florida members that might have something laying around too.

Re: blown out 6 lug hub
Hey Bro,
I just went through this last year. They are not manufactured no more. I had to go junk hunting to locate one that was compatible. I also learned that ones that may be similar in nature off of older trucks won't necessarily work, that cost me some money and waist of a long drive. I went back and had to measure out my spindle to ensure perfect fit to ensure I get it right. I just noticed fellow board member Teeitup was parting a 70, maybe you will get lucky there!!!! CPARMAN looks like he just may have what you need. I don't want to step on his offer, it is not right. Good luck on your search. R/

Re: blown out 6 lug hub
Wrecking yard or someone who is either going to disk or parting out a truck. I'm not sure what the going price is but it shouldn't be all that much used.

Re: blown out 6 lug hub
If you were closer... I have a pair with new wheel cylinders and hoses. Too heavy to ship or to put in the trash can. Junkman will get them on Thursday with a bunch of other junk I need to get rid off.
