What year is this truck?
Hey guys, can you tell me what year this truck is? im thinking it is a 58.
also how much would you pay for it? It has a PTO driven hydraulic dump bed, great body, original straight 6, ran strong when it was parked 10 years ago, clean title, and original tires.

Re: What year is this truck?
Maybe $1200-1500 only because it has a title. The motor that ran 10 years ago has sand all over the open oil fill and no sign that its had a oil cap on it is years. So you might as well say is ran great just before it blew up.
One ton parts are hard to find used and nearly impossible new. If the rear drums are shot you will have to change the axle to a newer one to be able to get service parts. |

I agree completely on the engine and good info on the parts issues. Maybe a disc conversion for the rear??

Re: What year is this truck?
I would look for a 73-87 or later C30 and drop the cab on it. It would work on a 58-59 and not look bad.
