Wiring Question
I purchased a guage cluster that has a Camaro tach in it so it has seperate wires from the cluster plug. With the tach wire plugged into the dist cap the engine won't start (no spark to the wires). With it unplugged the engine runs fine until I try and plug in the tach wite again. Any ideas what is going on?

sounds like you are grounding your coil, are you sure of the wiring on the tach?

There are usually three wires on the Camaro tachs-one is 12V, one is ground and one is the signal from the coil or distributor (HEI). How many wires do you have and are they identified or color coded?
