Re: Monster Transmission 700r4 SS

I have been hearing good things about the "monster in a box" rebuild kits produced by them for the 700. That's what I'm planning on using to rebuild my 700r4. If you beat me to it, let me know how it turns out.

I have used them and recommended them for years, no issues. Any install questions for swaps and hardware needed can be had at bowtie overdrives. BTW a 200 4R was good enough for Buick turbo-cars and fits trans tunnel better.

A 700R4 holding 650HP constantly is a joke

A very well built 700 is good for 400HP. the small clutches and weak pump cannot handle anymore.

I own a 700r4 and I gotta agree!!!!!

If your gonna drive it hard don't get a 700r4!!!!! if you drive it easy, it'll probably be fine.
