Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

WOW!! I can't believe a U.S. gallon is $6.68, over there. The highest it got here when gas prices went out of control was around $4.00 a gallon. Right now it is at $2.12 a gallon. There has been a small push in this country for a long time to use LPG but the problem is places here are so spread out and there is no fuel stations for it; so here you are very limited on where you can drive if you have that system.

Between the shipping fee's, import taxes, diffuculty finding parts, and high fuel costs my hat really goes off to you foriegn collectors. You guys truly are passionate about this hobby!! I really respect that.

Thankyou ! Yes it's a bit of a challenge but if it was easy everyone would do it, ha ha

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Well, not to stereotype Texas; but there are gas wells all over the place around here. That and the majority of refined fuel comes from right here in Houston so you could say were just close to the source. Of course I read in Time that oil rich countries in the middle east have gas for 35-50 cents a gallon!

I already posted pics of my burb a long time ago but I will re post it later along with my dads burb so you can see what were rolling in.

Some of my friends have been to middle eastern countries and it's true about the super cheap gas, we get taxed at around 75% on pump gas, maybe i should have an oil well in the garden ! Yes post some pics of the burbs, I'd love to see them

Dragsterbus, Sorry about such high taxes. We aeren't there yet but if Cap and Trade goes thru we will be getting closer to that. Anyway enough politics here is the picture of my suburban. It's a 72' big block 3/4 ton truck.

This one is my dad's. It is a 72 big block 1/2 ton.

Nice 'burbs ! i like the worn paint on your green one , are your wheels the later 16" , they look like mine which are off a 90's 8 stud truck, i found your thread with all your other burbs , Wow ! i'd love to get the 47-53 one thats been lifted by the roof and fix it up, we have major rust problems here and we usually have to replace the bottom 8" of most things, actually i'll take any of your collection thats going spare ! ha ha, keep up the good work !
