Body Swap
Hey guys, I got a 1977 GMC 2wd, I have a 1982 4wd drive frame im working on, I was wondering if there are any problems i will run into when i swap the body over. to the new frame (which body mounts to buy, etc) Thanks for the Help.

Use body mounts for the 82 and you will need a 3 inch body lift for the tranny tunnel to clear. Other than that it is straight forward.

73-87 all had the same frames with the exception of the front frame horns for the 73-80. I forgot that you will need to cut these off of your frame to use your front bumper from the 77. Other than that it is straight forward. If you need any help just ask.

I was already planning on using a 3 inch body lift, so thats all good. Im sure I will have more questions when i get into it. Thanks guys
