Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
I see you said 67 painted bumper ..... was that the rear or the front, in the first pic? Really I am interested in both front and rear, and I think I could use some of the brackets. I am just outside detroit and could run down and pick up. Thanks.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
I have a 67 front bumper and a 67 hood (the hood is not all that great but would be ok for a driver)-not shown in pic. No brackets. I can supply some pics later on in the week if interested.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
It is in ok shape, not great. A few extra holes where mirrors were on, but I may take a patch from it so it may not be worth it to you, depending on why you need it.
Nice SS, I am also a fellow Monte Carlo SS owner. |

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
I was looking for a rust free door. I am not so much worried about mirror holes.
And thanks. What year did you have? |

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
Did you have a chance to check on the area around the wiper motor mounts and the wiring trough ?

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
Yeah sorry, I have been falling behind. I just gutted the interior and got the firewall cleared off. The panel appears to be in good shape. I am cutting the panels out of it Saturday with a plasma cutter, if it is good I will cut it out and give you a price.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
Redden05- I still own it, trying to get this 72 C10 out of the garage so I can get the car back in. I built a Dart headed 383 for it, puts down 340HP and 340 ft-lbs to the wheels, boxed control arms, eibach suspension, etc. Ran a 12.80 @110. Not really set up to launch at the strip. Next plans include a 5spd...

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
Not a problem. I am ........ deep in a remodeling project so I am in no hurry. If you will not be using any part of the firewall, I would take the whole front from the windshield down to the bottom of the door (don't need the dash). I am sure once I get mine stripped out I will find more spots that need patched.

Re: Parting 72 LWB Chevy
It has the typical cracks and is missing the horn cover-beige color. Sorry, this truck is in beater condition. I will have a list of parts left over once the truck is gone that I will repost and see if anyone wants them.
