My Tow Hook Value Just Dropped

These were nice.I was so happy to have a set and they were so shiny and black.I doubt powder coat would be any better, but I went and scratched the paint up on one of my hooks! I knew I should have waited to restore the truck before putting these on.It`s like putting custom wheels on something that smokes and is rusted out. That`s one more thing I have to add to my bucket list.Maybe I`ll just wait to fix it when I do everything else.

The ole wrecker has the starter out and I wanted to move it.I tugged it down past this spot with a short chain using the push bumper behind my`92.Then,cut and pushed it back, still chained. The right rear was too close to the blue truck,so I hooked the`72 up and scooted the front around so it would back down into the spot.My son came around just in time to steer it back in.

Re: My Tow Hook Value Just Dropped

Eh, paint is easy, good thing they weren't powdercoated!

If they were on my truck, they'd be in a lot worse shape than that... just like my aftermarket hooks are!

Re: My Tow Hook Value Just Dropped

Yeah Chris,I had the GMC for sale and everybody kept asking about the blue & white Chevy.I wanted to keep it,but really needed the money. So,I sold the Chevy to a friend.I still need money,so I`d sell the tow truck.I just haven`t tryed in about a year.If I make it through all this crap and still have the wrecker it won`t break my heart. The White truck gets a 6" lit soon and eventually a 4.10 Dana60/HO52/No-Spin set.I may go to 4spd,too.i really like that blue & white truck,so I want the white one pretty much the same.
