Rear axle interchangable
Coming home from Hunting yesterday, my left rear axle decided it liked the mountains too much so it tried to stay, right in the middle of the road 30 miles from cell service. I got it pushed back in and off the road, then on the trailer and back home. (thanks to a few good friends)
Anyway, the axles are fine, but the bearings and seals are shot. Looking through the tube today, I noticed it looks bent, but could be an optical illusion, but if not, I need a whole new setup. I was wondering what years interchange with a 72 1/2 ton 4x4.

Re: Rear axle interchangable
thanks thats the way I am leaning, but wanted to see if there was a direct replacment, without cutting and welding the spring pads.
