Correct color for 69 power brakes??
I'm needing to know the correct color for booster and mounting brackets for 1969. I know 71-72 boosters and brackets were cadmium plated. However, my 69 booster (and others I've seen) look to be painted black. What about the mounting brackets - black or steel gray? Thanks for any help.

Depends on the booster not the year on the color. Bendix boosters were painted black and delco- moraine were cadmium plated. The brackets that I have had and redone have all been painted black.
