New yard truck...wrecker
Picked this thing up on CL the other day. I have a lot of squares that need to moved from time to time to pull parts from. Just the thing I needed. Just an excuse to buy another square. Its a 1973 3/4 ton with a dually rearend. Going to change out the front to dually suspension. Gotta brand new 400 trans in it. The wiring is kinda jacked and the interior is shot. Already pulled the running boards off and those stupid lights. The previous owner had them held on with bailing wire. It will do what I need it to. Haven't got to use it yet. Won't stop raining in Dallas. Just a good ole yard truck.

I like it. Ol' tow trucks are always cool. Some day I will build one from the 40s if I can find one I can afford. Good looking truck.

Sweetness! You gotta leave the yellow bubble. That one is cool. Looks like you cleaned the yard up a bit.

Re: New yard truck...wrecker
Had to take the yellow bubble off because I couldn't lift it high enough on my 2 post lift to get under it. I am only 6'3". I had some help this summer with cleaning up.

Sweet. I've always liked hook bodies on squares. Very old school.
Looks like you already got a wrecker though. What's the story with that Western Star? |
