67-72 Steering wheel, steering column

Hi All,

I'm building up a 56 chevy 3100 and I'm using a colum out of a 70 chevy truck. My question is, does anyone know if earlier year sterring wheels will work iwth this column, such as a 60-66 Chevy truck?

Thanks,
Sam

You would be better off posting this question in the 60-66 forum. Be aware that GM made two wheels from 67-72. 67-68 was a three spoke wheel and 69-72 was a two spoke. I believe they are interchangeable on any 67-72 column but the horn buttons are different.

Thanks, I got my eye on a wheel right now that's pretty cheap,(under $50) so I might just buy it anyway and see how well it works.
