No I have the jeep TJ springs in the back and they fit great

The spring i used was out of a 1998 jeep tj (wrangler) they have the same set up from 1997 to 2007 i think and it gave me about a 3 to 3 1/2 inch drop it is a little soft for hailing but i don't do any thing like that with this truck
