Need advice, What's this Blazer worth?

I am currently building a 81 swb but the wait to drive my old truck again is killing me so I started looking for something to cruise in until I finish the 81. I found this Blazer locally and I have looked at it once but it definatly needs some work but I think it would be a good project down the road.

The owner says it runs a drives. It has a 350. It has been lowered with a DJM lowering kit. The paint is rough and someone shaved the door handles on it. I have him down to $3000. Is it worth it? I know they are rare finds.

Thanks for any advice.

Jason

73-75 so it's a full top truck. It looks like it might have rust in the rear rocker, but doesn't appear to have it over the tire.

If the motor and transmission are solid and the interior isn't junk, 2500-3000 is not a bad deal. I would try for 2200 and go from there. If you pass on it, let me know. I have a buddy that will be interested.

Times are tough, I would see what a $2000 offer got for a response. I love all the full convertibles so it is probably worth more!

Cash always helps. I know in my area these are just about impossible to find in any condition. $3K is not bad in my book.

Re: Need advice, What's this Blazer worth?

Thanks for all the help. I was thinking $3000 was a good price and he told me today he would take $2500. I am going over there Tuesday to drive it so I will let you guys know what happens.

It has the usual rust but I have done welding my whole life so that is not the issue. Wish me luck.

Just remember, if he told you he wanted $2500, he'll probably take a little less. If you offered 2500 and he said he'd take it, be careful about trying to go lower some people may get the feeling you are trying to rip them off.

Offer him $2500 out the door so he pays all the taxes and registration costs. He should take it.

Always offer less than someone is asking. You may hurt there feelings but, also you could have you some greenbacks. All they can say is no.

I would take it at $2500 but I might see if he will go lower. I am getting a test drive with it Tuesday. My head is spinning already with things to do to it but I have to finish the SWB first.
