Re: Fuel filler progress finally

I was wondering where did find the 90 you are using and what are you doing for a vent hose? I also was wondering how you are going to flip the taillight down? By the way nice truck , keep up the good work and the pics.

Re: Fuel filler progress finally

Very nice! That's similar to what I did. Are you going to use LED tail lights?

Re: Fuel filler progress finally

Thanks for the compliments. It is not so much hard but can be very frustrating

Nathan28:I got the 90 from a place here in Canada called Canadian tire it is 1 3/4" exhaust tubing so any exhaust shop would have it. For the vent hose I am going to weld 1/4" nipples to the elbows one by the filler and one by the tank and then run 1/4" fuel line.
The taillight is going to be removable which you can see in the pictures below I have welded a tab on the inside of the taillight pocket and then added a magnet at the top (holds very tight). I was going to hinge it but I was concerned that when I was filling it I would have to be careful not to break it off

Huggercst: Have not decided if I am going with LED tail lights
