I ordered the lower bearing for my 66 steering column from LMC. The old one was a ball bearing style. The one I got from LMC was solid brass. Has any one installed one of these? I see them wearing out quicker than the ball bearing.

i ordered one but it had was just like the original only it didnt fit just right and when i used alittle force to get it on, it broke

Contact Bill Athey or google Atheys truck parts, hes a vendor here and a great guy to deal with. i got too much stuff from him to rebuild my 71 and he uses the stuff he sells.

Hes out of front royal VA
