Apache Panel

I have the opportunity to buy a Panel but I'm hesitant because of the body damage and I'm unsure if you can get these body panels aftermarket? Can you get these anywhere? What do you think is a fair price for this thing? It has a motor but does not run to my knowlege.. Thanks guys

Re: Apache Panel

If you get creative, i;m sure you can use a door skin to repair most of the driver side damage, fleetside quarter patches are available for around the wheelwells and the back doesn't look too bad. I'm sure anyone with some basic metalworking skills and creativity could pull off the repairs that i see that are needed.

Re: Apache Panel

Is that the only places with damage on it? how are the floor & rockers? If they are good $400 is a steal and the rally wheels if there is 4 of them are worth $100-150 with cnt caps & rings. Heck yeah grab it.
if nothing else you could part it out and make you $400 back plus some. As I recall I haven't seen very many Apatche panel's out there.---Vernski

Hi from Grants Pass. Where are you located.
That rear pannel doesn't look like too much trouble to fix. I'd love to find a pannel truck!

Re: Apache Panel

400 is a great price assuming its not severely rusted out. I would jump all over that

Awesome! I wanted to make sure it was worth the money before I bought it. Thanks for the info guys! After seeing Dinos panel on here I just gotta have one Here's a few more pics he sent, let me know what you guys think... The broken window kinda sucks but I'm sure there are a ton of those around, right?

Re: Apache Panel

Yeah for $400 I'd grab that. That left quarter is pretty ugly, but like rookierodbuilder said you could use a door skin, or eben part of a fleetside bed to repair that. The rear door could be fixed using a stud gun most likely. I would say it is worth the $$. It's pretty tough to find something like these in much better shape.

If you get it, I might have an extra back window.

Re: Apache Panel

I wish that panel was near FL. It would be gone in 60 sec.

Re: Apache Panel

There is no debate here. Get that truck before someone else does! You can get glass cut to fit since that rear window is flat.

except for at the bottoms of the panel as it goes under to join the inner panel and there one could use those cheaper weld in rocker patches (the ones that are not a complete rocker

We've been emailing back and forth but I told him I want it and I asked for his contact info so I can send him the cash to seal the deal. He lives kinda far from me so I'm gonna have to go pick it up on one of my days off coming up this week, I wish I could go today but I can't! He's really slow to email back often times so I'm just waiting...... I hate waiting

Anyhow, he told me that it's got a 350 in it that ran like a year ago but it hasn't ran since. He said it wouldn't take much to get the thing running but I don't think I'll mess with it. I'll just drop something else in probably?

Can't wait to get it!
