Headers for carbed LSx with dropmember??????

This is the only speedbump I've ran into with my carbed LS / Dropmember swap in my '70. Nate at Porterbuilt said that any F Body shorty will work... which I've found plenty of. I would like to use the Thorley's but people have run into clearance issues. As for the F Body headers, they all have a few sensor/emissions tubes welded in place. Although they could be capped, I would much rather them to not exist at all. Is anyone aware of a shorty like this? I dont mind plugging O2 bungs but those tubes are ugly as hell.

I'm using the hooker block huggers but I'm not sure how they will work with the drop member. They don't have any of the sensor stuff.

Try BRP Muscle Rods. They offer a 1.75"/3" collector 3/4 length header for 73-87's (should work on earlier models). They used these headers (engine/trans mounts too) in the "Parts Racer" build-up in Sport Truck mag (carb'd LS327/4L65-e swap).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
