Sold the truck......after 15 years it's hard to believe it's gone
It didn't really sink in until getting home and not seeing the old 76 not sitting in front of the house. 15 years is long time. But selling it will make it possible to finish our 72.
Why can't we all just be rich? One lucky kid..... |

Yep, It took a little while for him to save up. But when he first saw it, he had the same look that I did. So I'm glad it's going to a good home.

I know how ya feel man. I put so much time and effort into my 72 Super and when the guy hauled it off on the trailer, it really sucked. At least I have a nice driver now.

Your truck is clean.....real nice.
Our 72 is just a little rough right now. So the extra funds will make it a monster. But it was just sad watching it drive off into the sunset. There will always be another...and another....hopefully another.... |

I think we've all experienced that same feeling without our truck in the driveway anymore...but that just means there is room for another one right? Here's to many more projects and our continuing love affair with GM trucks!

Re: Sold the truck......after 15 years it's hard to believe it's gone
I remember crying when my dad sold his '71. I was maybe 5 yrs. old and it was a rusted out pile. Not really even sure why I was attached to it. He almost sold his '72 Porsche 914 once. The guy had cash in his hand. I cried and Dad told him he couldn't sell it. 20 years later the car still doesn't run. that's sad.
