Re: any pics of front top to windshield frame bolts?

The order I tighten is like this.

1st..don't tighten ANY of the bolts down. Get them started by hand to make sure nothing gets cross threaded.

#1-Top goes on and I start all the bed rail bolts.

#2-Then the sun visor to top bolts.

#3- the center 2 windshield to top bracket bolts.


Once ALL the bolts are in and threaded at least a few turns by hand then I'll wrench them all down.

I start with the sun visor bolts then the center windshield bracket bolts and lastly the bed rail bolts.

That's awesome info BobbyK. If no one has said it yet, I will, this should go into the Blazer/Jimmy FAQs.

Only thing I would add is:

Are there any differences bt. the single and double wall tops? I know they mount differently, so are some of the bolts different ie: bed rail bolts. If there is, maybe someone that has those can add to this post so that everything is covered at once.
