Re: trailing arms

Buy them used. You can find them on the parts board pretty frequently. They don't rust out in southern climates.

Re: trailing arms

I read here that the C20 ones will fit a C10 but the C20 ones already have the reinforcements welded on them to make them stronger, similar to that reinforcement kit that CPP sells for like $100.

Re: trailing arms

Good lord, 150 bucks. I guess it's location making the difference. Down here, I cut them up into short pieces when I scrap a truck. No one wants them around here.

Re: trailing arms

No one wants them?!?! I'd give ya $150 plus shipping for any that are not rusted apart. I could make a killing selling those to people in the more humid climates.

I thought the same thing. We got a nice set loose with the 72 we bought.

Re: trailing arms

When I part out a truck, I cut the last 7 inches of them off to use as po boy lowering blocks. The rest, I cut into half to make short iron for my scrap metal selling. They pay more for short iron.

If I could sell them for 150 plus shipping, I'd start buying trucks just for them alone.

That just made me shed a tear! I see them frequently go for $150 plus the trip and I've also seen them go for more than that.

Re: trailing arms

Up here in the rust belt of MN. I see them at the swap meets priced at $150.00 to $225.00 blasted. I feel I was lucky to buy a set for $75.00.
