Need some help!
So I have a 1980 siverado long box, all original 350 with th350 and a 12 bolt rear with 4:11 gears. So far I have done a tune up, replaced the rad with a dual core HD rad, and just recently I replaced The 4brl quadra jet carb with the same number and model that is new rebuilt, It seems that i now run rougher than hell and i set it to run as lean as i could then the other day, i started it up , in +2c weather and it started missing and would not burn the fuel. I am taking the whole day to freshen up the tune up but if anyone has had this happen or have any idea that could help, it would be much appreciated.

Re: Need some help!
stupid question is the wires set in the cap and on the plugs right? are the plugs properly gapped,, have you pulled them again and make sure that they are all firing?? cap is good rotor is properly seated
none of the wires to the cap are mis directed or pinched?

Re: Need some help!
I replaced the plugs, old ones were fouled! and checked the timing which I found to be @ 4 degrees. I set the timing to 8 degrees and found a couple of vacuum leaks that I fixed, only problem now is the choke on the new quadra jet seems to kick in around 2000 -2500 rpm and not kick down until warmed up 1-2 minutes, question is how do i turn down the choke? it is an electric. Oh and I forgot to mention That everything in the distributor is brand new even the pick-up. And thats Old Rusty C10 I re checked the gapping and everything on the distributor to double check and everythings good.
