3/4 ton vs 1/2 ton

is there a difference between 3/4 ton front end parts and half ton? Like control arms and spindles. i know the spring have different load capacities but the real question i am getting at is, i have a 1/2 pickup but I want to add 3/4 drop coils front and rear to it so if i need to haul something in my truck it wont rub.

The control arms and spindles and brake parts are all different.

Re: 3/4 ton vs 1/2 ton

It would be a lot simplier if you just replaced your rear springs with air bags. Add a couple schrader valves and air up when needed.
