69/70 Grill and core support
Unable to post pics, but will as soon as I can. I have a nice driver quality grill for a 69-70 truck complete with good inner grill, asking $100. Also have a 69-72 core support that is in mint condition, had light surface rust, has been sand blasted and primed asking $100. Respond in thread, would rather not ship these items because of size and weight. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: 69/70 Grill and core support
westofb ... It might help if you can ID the Grille... The 69 & 70 Grilles had slight differences and if you have a 70 Grille you might generate more interest. Just a thought. Good luck with your sale.

Re: 69/70 Grill and core support
70CST I am not sure of the differences between them.
TomBennett I am away from home at work at the moment, will try to post pics tomorrow. Brookfield is about 100 miles from KC, about 50 miles east of Cameron, Mo on Hwy 36. |

Re: 69/70 Grill and core support
Here are pics of grill, it has 3 small dings in it, 2 next to the passenger side headlight, and the most noticable is on center bar between the letters r and o. There is one small scape on bottom side of the grill on the corner under the pass headlamp, the plastic is in great shape, no breaks in it at all, all of the mounting tabs are there and no cracks anywhere. From the link sent to me from 70CST, i believe it is a 70 model, it has silver painted areas on the cross bars of the plastic. I think I uploaded all the pics of any damaged areas, look for yourself it is a very nice grill, not show quality but very nice driver quality. It does need the black areas repainted and a good cleaning...I just knocked the dust off with a rag, I did not try to shine it up!

Re: 69/70 Grill and core support
Here are pics of the core support. I forgot that there is some rust in one of the radiator mounts, but it is usable as is, or could be replaced, I know the aftermarket sale them new. I did get any close ups of the support, only had a camera phone to take pics with, you will not be disappointed with this core support, it is in great shape. I wish I had taken pics before I blasted and primed it, it only had a slight amount of surface rust on it! All of the threaded holes are good, nothing striped or broken off in it. But, I need to get it out of my shop, I am going with a 68 front and it won't work for me, only good for 69 through 72. I also have the hood latch that was blasted and primed too, it won't work with the 68 either, would let it go for $20.
