Where to find parts for power assisted steering?

I just bought a 1968 c10 Lwb with power assisted steering. I had to degrease the under chassis and found a hose had a small cut in it not sure if its enough to cause it to leak. If i need parts where can i go to get parts for that kind of power steering ? Also if i wanted to convert to power steering, which i might want to do. What all do i need ?

You should be able to use the existing pump and change the steering box.

You can get the control valves on Ebay under 63-82 Corvette power steering control valve. They are interchangable. Some local part stores have them, but check the price.

Re: Where to find parts for power assisted steering?

There is a guy on Ebay that is selling instructions on how to use later model power steering systems on the older trucks. I think it is $15.00 for the plans & knowledge needed.
