Looking good MSL!
That is indeed a nice, solid looking truck.
I bet you get the same thing that I do when mine is clean= "How much you want for it?"
I hear it a lot this time of year on three of my cars, I guess warm weather brings em' out.

Blue Beard,
I'll tell you a good one,
I kept my '81 Z/28 in the yard way off the road and you could not really see it at all going down the road.
There is even a 7 ft fence that you can't see through between it and the road.
Did this stop the people from asking?
NO
I would find people in this totally enclosed yard looking at the car.
It got so bad that I threw a vinyl cover over it and took some spray paint and painted the words "NOT FOR SALE" down the sides and the front of the cover.
Did this stop people from asking?
NO
?????

MSL,

Looks great!

When I totaled the front end on my 85 GMC, I ordered a new grill they sent me one with a bowtie on it that looks similar to yours. I simply took some chevy orange and painted the bowtie. I got more compliments on that grill than any other part of the truck.

Just an idea.

That's nice! Really says something when all the body lines and pannel gaps are right after all those years.

Ya its pretty straight except for the tailgate its bowed a little but still lines up pretty good other than for some minor dings and scrapes its workable. Whoever owned the truck before the car lot i got it from did a nice job of taking care of it. Now its my turn to get her back into shape alot of stuff has been neglected.

Yeah the little stuff takes time. Even with this well maintained 88 burb with only 71k I'm find little things that need attention. Dumb stuff like bad radio antenna, foam in the armrests disintigreated, High on the Blower is intermitant, dry rotted speakers. Knock one down you find 2 more LOL.
