Want i really really want is 4.10s or nothing else haha. My question is to yall where can i find some? wat do i need to install them? Is it hard to install? and Will aftermarket 4.10 gears fit my housing? Any info on this project would be so much help guys u have no idea haha. Thx alot!

You can get the gears from Summit or Jegs, they both carry them. As far as installng them...never done it, always had a shop do it. From what i have HEARD it is not the easiest job in the world.
I have 4.10's in my truck and love it!! I came from 3.08 too...you will like them! They do however, increase RPM's on the highway...but this will help keep you from getting speeding tickets. (but "unessesary acceleration" tickets might happen!) -Jeff |

Well if the gears won't fit the housing i'll need to get a new one right? Are they expensive? Yeah i guess i'll need to have someone do them haha, unless i start reading up on it pretty heavely haha.

If you have 3.08 gears now then you have a series 3 carrier. The highest (numerically) gear you can go with a series 3 is a 3.73 4.10 requires a series 4 carrier. A new carrier, with positraction runs from $200-$500 depending on brand and options.

Awww that stinks lol. U think 3.73s would be good. IMO anything is better than those sad ole' 3.08s haha. But for racing u think i can get a good launch off of some 3.73s. Thx for the info to yall
