bucket seat ?
is 71 buckets out of a blazer the same as the 69 blazer? if not will 71 fit in a 69 with out changing anything? thanks for any help. bill

I think the seats are the same but the covers are different bt. '69/'70 and '71/'72. Not 100% sure the seat tracks are same.

Bill, I believe that the foam is different for 69-70 vs. 71-72 bucket seats, but I know the tracks/brackets should be the same. Trevor

I think they ^ are correct Bill, but there was also "auxillary buckets", and yes, those are considerably wider. Maybe somebody has some pics to help you.

I might be talking out my @ss right now, but weren't there "utility buckets" along with regular buckets? Utility buckets being the lower grade of the two. I agree about the brackets all being the same.

Yeah I called them auxilary buckets, but maybe they were called utility. Either way, they were the larger, wider buckets with metal backs.

I bought covers from LMC and they were too small contacted the shop that make them she told me i had what they called fat boy seats which i found out were called utility seats i also found out that were 2 differend brackets for the passenger side i have one that rear bracket is in the center and one that it is to the right of the seat.
