Temp gauge ?
Trying to troubleshoot why temp gauge goes to hot when driving. Verified gauge goes to hot when green wire to sending unit is grounded. Verified temp sending switch is good. It may seem like a silly question but is the 90 ohm resistor on the back of the gauge supposed to read 90 ohms when checked with a volt meter, mine is reading 38 ohms. If resistor is the problem where would I locate one? Thanks for any help!!!!

Re: Temp gauge ?
90 ohm resistor can be purchased at any electronics supply house. Be sure to take the old one with you so they can determine the wattage.
