yes, the steel ones are usually painted white or grey (or body color to be custom or they can be chromed (which is what I plan to do)

I decided to keep the hood until I can fit my aftermarket one on, maybe in the spring? I hate to get rid of the only decent OEM hood that i've seen in awhile, especially if the aftermarket one sucks.
