Anyone running 315/35/20's on the rear? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Im concidering going this wide for the rear of my project, did some research and came up with 28".5 overall tire diameter, not bad, plus the width of the tire makes it look sick. Anyone running them out there? Maybe a pic? Thanks.

I'm wondering if you're not going to have to tub out your bed to make those tires work. 315's are pretty wide.

I have an eye on a set of those, and yes they seem pretty wide (that's the reason why I like them) I might have to tub my bed like you said. If I get them, I will install them on my 20x10 Coys, so once installed they will narrow just a bit, here's a pic of them...

I am not sure if this truck has the exact size but I think it is though.....this is a truck that belongs to a friend of a friend of mine..

Those look like Mickey T Radials which would be slightly wider than the 315mm is.

Thanks for the pics Big Al 71, those M/T sure look killer, Scoti is right, they seem a little wider than the 315's

I have 315/35/20s on Project Bruiser. They are on 20x10" wheels with 5.75" BS, which puts the tires within about 1/16" from the outer wheel well when fully dumped

I did tub the rear wheel wells. If you look at my build thread, I have a picture of one of the tires mounted up with no wheel well, so you can see how close the tire would be to the stock wheel well.

Overall, I really kinda kick myself for not narrowing a 9" to run less back spacing. I'd probably have close to the same as what I do in my 12 bolt. Oh well....to late now.
