Front coil spring question
I will soon be swapping my small block for a big block and was thinking about the front springs. I currently run 2" drop spindles with 2" lowering springs. Plenty of clearance for the Eagle 255 65 17 but
what happens when I put the big block in? Will the front end squat a little and be ok? Do I need to replace with standard springs? Do I need to replace with heavy duty springs? Any experience would help Thanks

Re: Front coil spring question
you might need to swap out for a one inch drop spring.
Swap it and see what happens. |

Re: Front coil spring question
My front end kit is from Classic Performance Products and I called them and they said their 2" lowering spring is good for I6, sbc, or bbc. So I think I will do as Longhorn Man suggest and do the swap and see!
Thanks for your responses and I may have to PM Tom Vogel for some new springs to keep from plowing.

Re: Front coil spring question
this isn't a WTB thread. If it was, it'd be in the parts section.
