My 66 project

Here's the 66 I got 5 years ago, it was in better shape at that time, it's been sitting there for a year now, I've decided to take a little time off to start the project.

Now it looks like this:

I got this, so I can use the suspension and drivetrain because the suburban was a 2WD in the first place, and I know that if I leave it 4WD, I'm never gonna go anywhere dirty with it, so there is no need for that.

I really like the looks of that truck, and I can really picture my truck looking like this:

I know it's going to be a lot of work, rockers, floors, fender, fender post, are almost non-existant... But I've seen some projects here worst than mine, I've always been very optimistic...
So we'll start with a garage clean-up next week...Wish me luck!
By the way, I've found a huge amount of information here, it's incredible!
Any help is going greatly appreciated!

Welcome. Nice truck you have to start with there. It's funny seeing the pic of that green 66 because I have the same pic saved. I like that color combo too.
