My 66 project
Here's the 66 I got 5 years ago, it was in better shape at that time, it's been sitting there for a year now, I've decided to take a little time off to start the project.
Now it looks like this: I got this, so I can use the suspension and drivetrain because the suburban was a 2WD in the first place, and I know that if I leave it 4WD, I'm never gonna go anywhere dirty with it, so there is no need for that. I really like the looks of that truck, and I can really picture my truck looking like this: I know it's going to be a lot of work, rockers, floors, fender, fender post, are almost non-existant... But I've seen some projects here worst than mine, I've always been very optimistic... So we'll start with a garage clean-up next week...Wish me luck! By the way, I've found a huge amount of information here, it's incredible! Any help is going greatly appreciated! |

Re: My 66 project
Welcome. Nice truck you have to start with there. It's funny seeing the pic of that green 66 because I have the same pic saved. I like that color combo too.

That'll be a bit of work.....but arent they all. That'll be cool as a lowered panel. Keep us uptodate with your progress.....with pics of course.
