Im thinking of fitting front and rear sway bars to my 63, it will be on air bags,

My question is, is the work and money wort it, i dont want to loose the feel of a 60s truck.

Yes, it is well worth it. Are you going to update the front suspension? If you convert to 70-87 front suspension, get the sway bar from a donor truck.
