Drip rail molding install????
Any trick to installing chrome drip rail molding? I bought a new (aftermarket) set and I'm hesitant about putting it on my freshly painted cab. My luck, the trim won't fit right and I'll scratch my cab up trying to put it on. Any help???
Joshua

Re: Drip rail molding install????
You just described a the common problem with that trim.Personally,i`d find myself the most talented old school set of trim working hands I could ind and pay them on that. It`s all one shot every inch of the way with paint and/or trim damage ready to pounce along the way.Alright...at least I know I`m too chicken to have ever tried.

Re: Drip rail molding install????
When I bought my replacement rolling chasis, it had the stubs for the mlds around the cab & windows. We ground them off & even took the line off the back of the cab. Turned out very good. Howard

Josh, I sure can't help ya out on the trim, but I am curious of the same question as I want to put it on my truck if it fits decent. Let me know if you put it on. Trevor
