Re: Hitch q's
If I would have know that you needed one 2 months ago I would have given you one, but it went to scrap. You should be able to find one for the 73-87 trucks I would think.
I found this one on CL in CA: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pts/1459220300.html And her is a website that offers a bunch: http://www.pickupspecialties.com/Hit...vy_hitches.htm

Re: Hitch q's
U haul should have a universal fit hitch that will bolt on. At least they used to.

Re: Hitch q's
I'm just guessing here, but lets assume if there is a break it would be based on the different bumpers. With that thought it should be 73-80 then 81-87.
They "might" interchange. Anyone know for sure?

Re: Hitch q's
73-87 are all the same, i bought one for my 77 k10, i had to do some drilling but it fits. I believe the box said from 67-87, buts its been a while.

Re: Hitch q's
In theory you could use one from a 67-87 since the frames are the same width. I was thinking about getting a hidden hitch for the 67-72 to use on my 86 and then adapt the license bracket to flip up and down. I didn't do any of the research to know if it will work or not. I have seen U-haul and Reese hitches on 73-87's but they hang down real low.

Re: Hitch q's
If I remember correctly a Blazer hitch will also fit a truck. I already made the mistake of buying one off of a suburban for mine.
