man i realy like that copper color that truck is badass. seems to me with all the work going in to the body and the chrome accessorys it would be a shame to just paint the engine black or silver.

there have been some resent advances in powder coating. there is a few finishes that resemble chrome. so my vote is to powder coat the block heads and all your blackets chrome. take that engine compartment to the next level.

I would never paint an engine white..what a nightmare it would be to keep clean!!

You could spot oil leaks easily though!

In my opinion you have two choices if you want to do your truck justice. Despite your thoughts of being too much, the body color would like very nice.

The other option is a color that compliments in with your interior. What color will that be?

love the color of the truck.. me personaly i'd pant the motor chevy orange it would pop out like you want it. black to me is boring and the blue to fordish for me. CHEVY ORANGE lol

You would not believe how many people ask me why my engine is Ford Blue, and my response is always the same. It's not ford blue...it's GM Blue....it came from the factory that way.....

BTW, I have seen them John Deere Green, but don't think it'd look good with your color of body. I agree with Ken, try to visualize what it would be like if you compliment your interior color.

i vote BLACK ,it really makes all the aluminum and chrome stand out and it goes with any other color. in my opinion.

well sorry guys, that i havn't got back to you sonner. been workin long hours and tryin to get some work on the truck done. hoping to bring it home this week to start on full custom interior. thats gonna take ages to do, with all my plans for it.

back to the motor, thats gonna go on hold till till winter i think. i've a 400sbc that i'm gonna build. but its gonna take $$$$$$ with what i want to do with it.
