Lug Nut Size???
What size are the lug nuts on a 1970 Chevy C20 8 bolt? Also where can I get a lug nut? If anyone has a spair they wanna send me you would be the coolest.

if a 71 is the same size, i could send you a couple, they're chrome but not in the best shape

1/2 inch on 70 and older...9/16 on 71 and up.
I actually need a couple, so i can't spare any. |

If I just go down to the Home Depot and get me a 1/2 in nut and put it on there will that bee good enough for me to pass tech inspection at the track? If not I gotta fine a lug nuch quick. Oh what the tread count on them?...20? Thanks

pop one of the ones that you already have off and take it in with you, you'll need to ensure the taper is correct. Also makes sure you get ASE and not metric.
I wouldn't go to Home Depot though....try NAPA. |

Studs and lugnuts are cheap, go to Napa or any parts store and they should be able to fix you up.
