Cool....let me know grimy...

Did you get those a/c compressors i sent you yet? The harness is for a ground path issue to the clutch on our century class...thought you might use it...

Chalet is at 80% right now...need to finish the harness...and some small parts...egr...etc.

Paid a little more for the burb then I was expecting so not sure if I have the cash for a couple weeks so keep them forsale. I don't want to hold you up.

Let me ask you this...will the bases cover pre existing holes from the stock mirrors? The body and paint is perfect on this burb I picked so If they don't cover those holes I'll have to pass anyway.

Thats a good question grimy...i have a template here somewhere for the bone stock mirrors i could use to figure that one out. First guess would be no....however a 88 up c/k p/u bed on a 72 or 55 p/u has body lines that match....go figure.

The burb is still down...THM475 has arrived from phoenix....NP241 is still in pieces waiting for a thrust washer for the input gear....grrr.

EJS is near buddy....everytime i peak out the bay door window at work somethin is rollin by the shop on I-70 with a trailered crawler of some sort attached....will be down there friday to check it all out...

Thought of you today...lol...saw a white lifted burb towing a trailer much like yours today about two miles from the house...yours is a 3/4 ton right? His was saggin in the rear...so airbags might be something to consider....

i think they are talking about the same ones they put on the 96-98 trucks like in my avatar. I wish i knew they went for that much, passed up a set at a freight salvage for 15 a piece.

They didn't have the hitch set up right. If the hitch is right it pushes down the front as much as the rear.
I actully know where a used bag helper set up is for $150 complete. These trucks taped down to the rear and they "Look" low in the rear even when dead level at the rockers. I wouldn't mind getting the rear up about an inch. I even thought about pulling a couple leafs so it would sag and then use the bags to level. That way if I got in a situation where I was dragging the back of the trailer I could dump the air in the bags cause the rear of the trailer to come up.

I went and looked at a 91 and the mirrors are not going to work without some body work to hide what was already there.

For anybody that wants a picture you can go to www.kbb.com and looke and 90-91 Burbs, crews and K5's and there are some pictures of trucks wearing the power mirrors. I'll try to link a picture but it may not work. Cant give you a direct link because of the way they have the site set up.

They kinda look like the 88 up C/K version but thats about it...they were only ava in the R/V series in 90-91...then the body style was no more and the hold over Burbs...Blazers..Crew Cabs all went to the C/K designation with the new body style.

The mirrors run around $450 from GM and GM only as they are not ava in the aftermarket.
