Opinion on this '78 GMC?

Hey guys:

I was prospecting through the local sell it yourself lot here in town and I ran across a 1978 GMC lwb truck with some stuff on it I've never seen before.

I didn't have my camera with me to get pics, but I'll describe what it has via the RPO sticker that was laid on the dash:

High Sierra
350 4bbl
chrome bumpers f &r ,brite grille, wheel trim
sliding rear window
deluxe hubcaps

Ok that stuff is pretty ordinary, but look at this:

U16 gauge cluster with tach
ZQ2 convienance pkg
K43 poly-wrap air cleaner

Also has cruise and interval wipers.

Here is the most unusual part of the truck:

It has AV5 high-back bucket seats, and has a console included. I thought it was an add-on but it's right there on the option sticker.

The truck itself definitely looks it's age, but I think some of these options make it more uncommon. It's advertised for $700..what do you guys think?

Re: Opinion on this '78 GMC?

if the body is in decent shape thats a really good buy regardless of the options. with those options i would say that its definately a good find even if your just going to use it for parts

pictures would be worth 1000 words but if it looks half decent and runs half decent then go for it
