Where is the vin # on my 52?
I found the serial identification number on the driver side door, but i cant find the vin #.
Can anyone help!!! |

The number stamped in the tag on the doorpost was what was on the Texas title of my truck when I bought it.
As the p/o had gone to the trouble to get "motor change" noted on the title I am not sure if they originally went off the motor number or the door post number. When I moved back up here the WSP inspectors checked the number on the door post against the Texas title and didn't give a rip about the engine swap thing. What's on the title? And then what do the Texas DMV say that they go by? You can get all kinds of opinions but you still have to go with what the State of Texas DMV says is what you use. |

the number on my door tag is the one on my title also
