I need pics of trucks on 17" wheels

I really like the 17" wheel and tire size. Right now there are alot of take off new 17" tires laying around the tire stores and therefore replacement tires are cheap. That's one reason.

The other reason is that I like the idea of 4 wheel rotations. What can I say? I'm a bit pragmatic.

I'd like to do a 8" wide 17" setup. I think....grin

Also if you post pics, could you mention back spacing and your drop specs?

Any isuues with rubbing?

I'm trying to stay old school or period specific yet a more modern tire size.

Thanks for the help fellas!

4" drop in front and 6" drop in rear. No rub. Front uses drop spindles with 5 bolt pattern and the rear end is from a 71 truck (5 lug). These are 17 x 8 with 4.5" off set. TTII

255 60 17
obtw, I did have to put a 1" spacer behing the rear wheels to set them out to match the front. Dont know if the 71 rear end is more narrow than a 68 or if the aftermarket front end set out the wheels.
