Where can I find???
Fuel filler hose for my 72 blazer?? The smallest thing LMC carries is a 2 inch filler hose and that's not even close to being small enough.
The filler neck on the gas tank mics at 1.370" which is 1 3/8 inches. Where do I find a correct filler hose that small?? Last edited by Firebirdjones; 11-15-2009 at 03:09 PM. |

Re: Where can I find???
My local Napa had to order it, but a marine store could probably get it as well.
It isn't cheap though...just a heads up. |

Re: Where can I find???
I got mine from Classic Chevrolet Parts in OK City about 8 months ago. It was a GM part. It was not in the online catolog, but I called them and they had it. Around $30.00 with shipping.

Re: Where can I find???
Thanks for the responses guys. I was thinking of trying the local Napa for giggles. I just haven't had any luck with the aftermarket suppliers as of yet so I thought I should ask.
I did find what Gates calls their universal 1 3/8 flexible fuel hose that is used in marine applications along with a part number. May even work better as a flexible hose. My factory hose has a kink in it right where it has to bend into the tank about 30 degrees. It's cracked and leaking there. I've probably lost more fuel on the ground than the hose cost already Anyway I was thinking if I went in armed with the part number to any parts store that deals with Gates I should be able to order this,,,,,fingers crossed. Re: Where can I find???
I got mine at a local hydraulic & rubber supply store - like $13.00 per foot and it is fuel rated.

Re: Where can I find???
Yep I finally found it. Napa didn't have anything close so I stopped at the local Fleet store that deals mostly in commercial truck parts. They had it by the foot for $12.30 per foot. I didn't think that was bad.
It's more of a universal flexible fuel hose, but it should work fine. Smallest available was 1 1/2 inches. I hope to be able to squeeze that down tight enough on a 1 3/8 pipe. Only talking 1/16 inch all the way around. |
